New World (URD) V3.5 Info.

The new world while having the same quests and maps is quite a different place, fools rush in and die quickly, stealth can be your friend especially in pents (your stealth mod versus the demons perception mod determines your chance of escape), a group of demons is especially dangerous. Pulse is gone, war cry works differently, it no longer gives a life shield nor does it stop spell casting. It does, however, lower your enemies' stats. Tactics now affects all stats, hold mouse over stat#s to see it's effect. Mages can only bless themselves. Attack Spell mana cost is increased (6). On the whole, Old World Builds will not work well here... new builds are required for optimum performance with the new stat and combat systems. Past-The-Max has been removed.
Each character is limited to three saves. Characters no longer lose equipped  items on death, but they do lose the money they carried and their inventory unless they loot their corpse within 30 min.  /allow is gone.
IAC is now 1st Sergeant AND min lvl 40. Clan system (there are 60) is different, the big spawn is divided into 3 sets by level (5-38 , 40-60, 64-200) each set spawning at a different time , there's a spawn timer on the Astonia NW website in clan overview section  In Game /time also displays spawn timer .  CJ's are worth points, the higher the level spawn the more points, clan rent and bonus costs are in points. /lag is gone you can no longer limbo, you cannot drag(it works differently see /nomove command also) in a spawn, nor can you hand anything to someone that you can attack. Ped timer has been added, after touching only you can grab cj for next 2 min. Many of the money faucets have been removed, cash is much harder to come by.  The Bank Account and Depot are shared by all chars on the account, quest items cannot be put in Depot /status shows your bank balance. Always loot corpses and sell gear (anything up to base value 25 can be trashed for 1/3 base value, about half the cash you would get from a shopkeeper) Orbs can be bought at shops and require stones to power them. The old orb stands have become experience pillars (A Red Pillar as in Tunnels)  , and there are more pillars scattered around Astonia, look for 3 in Cameron area and 3 more in Aston 3 in Aston sewers. It pays to explore.  Weld shrines (There are more if these too) move all the stats on a piece of gear to the other piece... no force welding or adding stats. Professions are changed Enhancer and Smith have been added, Mercenary, Trader, Miner & Alchemist, are all that remain of the old professions. All professions max at 25pps Max PPs you can have is 50, 25 pre Arch. The Gov no longer gives Mining missions, SU & GU are used to repair gear which wears out with use, SU & GU can be bought in the mine shops.  You must be the level of the mine you are in or above to access the GU Room Chest. In Brannington Broklin's SU/GU exchange rate has been changed.  The Gov is permanently bribed and offers all levels of mission (Always said he was crooked as well as insane) and the Advisors are gone. Teufelheim is gone,  Jobbington is also gone.  Test Pents are gone, but Sand Arena now has it's own Teleporter and Blue Sq.  LQ Area is gone. There is no PK   Fighting the GK is harder now and recoded to prevent some old tricks (cheats) and Seyan GK only allows 1 pot  ...         more to come. 
Pents have had level limits applied... low level demons will flee from high level chars to discourage stone farming.  Pents have a max level that can use them... 7/8 max lvl 20, 9/10 max lvl 22 etc  
The punishment system is different too, criminal record is account wide and punishments apply to the account not the individual Alt.  Each punishment  is an ACCOUNT lock starting at 1 hour, then 2 hours then 4  etc.   Too many punishments on an acct and it gets permanently locked

When Can I use this + #  1 ,2 or 3 stat item     

IF YOU ARE A PAID PREMIUM ACCOUNT HOLDER YOU CAN USE ALL STATS ON 2 AND 3 STAT ITEMS, FREE ACCOUNTS CAN ONLY USE THE FIRST STAT ON A MULTI STAT ITEM.

Be aware that the maximum + stat on an item determines who can  use it.  Over +9 requires Arch

All items when dropped are +1.  stats are increased using orbs... be careful you can make the item unwearable if you increase it's stats too much ( like taking it to +10 when unarched)

When can I sell Reskin this Stone.

To sell Reskin a Stone  you need to be of  high enough level. If you are not Reskin will say that he cannot pay you right now. NW STONE STONE PAYMENTS FROM RESKIN ARE MUCH LOWER.

EStone.......Lvl 10...........25g

FStone.......Lvl 30?...........37.5g

IStone........Lvl 60?..........50g

HStone.......Lvl 80?...........?g...

 

Flowers, berries &  shrooms have level requirements too (see potions page). So if Reskin tells you he cannot pay right now, he's not broke, he's being polite, and letting you know you need to be a higher level to sell that item. Reskin will only buy one of each item from you.

ASTONIAN MATH 101  

all those pesky calculations you wondered about (more will be added as I get them)

 

Bless Duration (seconds)     =  120s + (dur mod * 3.42). The 3.42 is an approximate figure; it's 3.42 +/- 0.01.
Bless Bonus to 4 Attributes  =  Unblessed Bless Mod /4  rounded down, capped at 50% of base

Attribute Bonus to Stats     =  (Attr1 Mod + Attr2 Mod + Attr2 Mod) / 5 rounded down

Level Required for multi stat =  1 stat level + mod2 + mod 3 ( tri stat +5 = 15 +5+5 = lvl Reqd)

How Much Su/GU will I Find = (Rand# 3-9)*(mine level/10)*(1 + (miner PPS/20))

Stones and Orbs... Quality =  Strength / Complexity        

Gear... Strength / Complexity*100 = Efficiency

HEAL:  Mana cost = heal mod.   Effect = 1/2 heal mod as HP over 8 seconds.

What are these mysterious named items?

Various items drop in Astonia, they are usually belts rings amulets boots or capes... usually named like Boots of the Warrior
